As the coronavirus hit the travel industry earlier this year, the design team at Agoda looked at how we could save costs without sacrificing the quality of the work we’re doing.
The collaborative features and the opportunity to shrink the cost of multiple license fees to just one were two compelling reasons to review Figma and eventually propose a plan to migrate our whole design organization to the new tool.
Part 1: Tools, costs, and learnings from other design teamsYCS is an enterprise tool where hotels can manage rates and allotment, bookings, promotions and much more. The YCS app was launched in early 2018 with a limited set of features. During 2019 we set out to expand on the app and build out some of the wanted features.
In this case study, I uncover how we designed a new insights feed for our hotel partners, giving them the relevant information they need about their performance, guests, and the hotel industry.
